In the village

spent a nice afternoon the other day walking around a changed Greenwich Village with two close friends visiting from France. The highlight was a great pizza at john's of Bleecker St. which I haven't been to in years, and a nice sit down in the beautiful garden at St. Luke's. So many boarded up stores, but the streets with those great houses are still there so all is well with New York. So many ghosts walked by our sides.

I just started reading his latest and last book Baumgartner a week or so ago. Maybe I should start reading the art of the deal and see what happens. I always wanted to meet him since I discovered his work so many years ago.
