Blue Print Review
Blue Fifth Review has just put up their fall issue and have used one of my collages for the cover and also used one of my drawings when I was a teenager. You can view both images at these links.

Some More Teenage Art.
I'm a bottomless pit of my teenage art. The first is art that I did for a Jazz record album which was a project for school, the 2nd is a small drawing of a house that was across the street from where I lived as a boy. The 2nd one is a collage of FDR postage stamps, the 3rd and 4th ones are ink drawings all were done in the mid and late 60's.
A New Favorite Actress
It's always great when you find a new actress who knocks you out, and I was knocked out by Amy Landecker who has a brief but wonderful role as Mrs. Samsky in the new and marvelous Coen Brothers movie "A Serious Man." Ms. Landecker has mostly done tv and it turns out that she is the great granddaughter of one of my heroes Joseph Welch who stood up to McCarthy and later played the judge in Anatomy Of Murder. With this movie and Quentin Tarantino's Inglourious Basterds 2009 is looking to be a great movie year after all.

New Teenage Art
Still going through my old portfolios. These pieces are from 1964-1968. The logo was done by me as an advertising project in school, and I was not going by ira joel haber back in 1966. My using my whole name came in 1969 when a friend suggested that I should also use my middle name because it added a special zing to my name. He was right.
