Partners In Design. Alfred H. Barr Jr. Philip Johnson The Grey Art Gallery

I suppose I should say yeah take in this show even though it is skimpy and cramped. Still there are some terrific pieces of furniture and kitchen stuff. Never mind the elephant in the room which is Philip Johnson and his fascist and anti-Semitic leanings, but hey wait he apologized for being a stupid asshole and all is forgiven and hey he built that great glass house and hey he was a homo so what's not to like. So what if Alfred found his faults somewhat embarrassing they were partners in design after all and helped build the Museum Of Modern Art into what it is today. It's all razzle dazzle anyway and let them eat good design. This one will be up until Dec. 9th.
