Mira Schor

Impressive group of figurative drawings by Mira Schor at Lyles and King. These are not pleasant drawings to hang over your couch or dining room table and forget about them. These are scared and damaged images of women left for dead. Skulls and corpse like figures that are disturbing and strong. Schor has drawn them on what looks like to me to be tracing paper with paint that looks like mud and politics. There's not a dainty piece among them, strong stuff indeed.
