I had no idea that Budd Hopkins had passed and in 2011 yet. I don't know how I missed this, but didn't see any obit or notice of his death. I was very friendly with Budd in the early 70's when he was married to April Kingsley, and I must honor his life and work even if its a bit late. He gained much attention in his later life not for his paintings but for his writings on UFOs and alien abductions and I have great memories of him and April's lively dinners and the 30th birthday party they threw for me in their beautiful Chelsea brownstone.
