Books for Sale

Here is a small group of books that I offer for sale on my website www.cinemagebooks.com

Dinesen, Isak with an Introduction By Dorothy Canfield. Seven Gothic Tales
Very nice facsimile edition of the original 1934 American edition. This was Dinesen's first book. Tiny mended tear to the top edge of the dj, otherwise fine/fine. 25.00

The Needle. Uncommon vinatge look at drug addiction circa 1959. A nice & lurid book with great artwork cover. "Drugged and Depraved!" The cover has soft crease upper corner, and pages as usual are browning and fragile. Vg+ 125.00

SIGNED BY SAM SHEPARD. 39 very short stories by the Pulitzer Prize winning playwright, Oscar nominated actor, prize winning screenwriter & musician. Dustjacket photo by Manuel Alvarez Bravo. Shepard is notorious for not signing books, and this is a very scarce book signed. A few pages have corner reading folds, otherwise near fine/fine. Laid in is a program for a production of Shepard's "Curse Of The Starving Class" from The Arena Stage in Washington D.C. from 1979 along with 6 other programs from other Shepard productions including the New York City productions of Curse Of The Starving Class that starred Kathy Bates, True West (1983 production), Fool For Love (1983) & Red Cross, Icarus's Mother and Action, from 1972, A Lie Of The MInd, and Buried Child from 1979. Sold as a collection only. 250.00

Krazy Kat. 30 Postcards.
A Marvelous full color collection of postcards from the great surreal eccentric comic strip from the 30's & 40's. Very nice. Fine. 40.00

Zero Mostel's Book Of Villains. Incredibly funny! The late great comic-actor appears as 43 famous villains. His Loch Ness Monster is alone worth the price of the book. Remarkable. Teeny tiny spot to the front edge. Near fine. 50.00
