Coney Island

I went to Coney Island yesterday. I haven't been there in at least 50 years. As a kid I went there all the time, and maybe I thought I would find 1954. Nothing remains from my youth, but the wonder wheel, the parachute jump and nathan's are still in place. Its much cleaner than I remember and the honky tonk feeling is pretty much gone. I was struck by how much nicer the beach looked very clean and the vast spaces and light was wonderful. The smells of my childhood are also gone, and it was a dreamlike experience for me. I took about 200 photos and here are just a few.
